Construction Pre-Apprenticeship
This program prepares men and women to enter the building and construction industry. Woven throughout the curriculum are introductions to various trades including highway construction, carpenters, painters, plumbing, electricians, and linemen. Particular attention is placed on workplace safety where you will earn your OSHA Certification, tool usage and identification, construction math with blue print reading, Your Role in the Green Environment, and work ethics. Enrollment priority is given to women to enter non-traditional occupational training.
Funded through the Department of Transportation. This course is offered at no-charge to those who meet the eligibility criteria.
2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
