A collaboration with East Side Union High School District and East Side Adult Education.
Alternative education program for high-risk or low credit youth who are having difficulties within a comprehensive high school. We work with "5th year" seniors or those who have been out of the school system and are between the ages of 17 - 21 to obtain their GED. We provide pre-testing, study, practice testing, and referral/scheduling of the actual GED test. After attainment of GED we work with youth for entry into community college, job training, and/or employment. This program offers gang prevention and intervention services and also provides on-site case management services.
A second class is offered to those 18 and older, Monday - Thursday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Registration fee of $30 required.
