La Raza Roundtable brings together community organizations, community leaders, elected officials, private and public sector representatives in leadership capacities that can impact positive change for La Raza. The organization was founded nearly twenty years ago by Victor Garza, Rose Amador, Raul Colunga and Pancho Garcia and has grown to a regular monthly attendance of 75-100 attendees.The organization focuses on: Juvenile Justice Reform, Education, Workforce, Childcare and Public Services. Speakers are brought in monthly to address many of these issues and are held accountible by La Raza Roundtable.
La Raza Roundtable Foundation serves to provide leadership training in educational institutions through the "Victor Garza Leadership Program.
The mission of La Raza Roundtable de California is to be an inclusive organization for all people with emphasis on improving the quality of life for Chicanos/Raza through advocacy in order to insure equality, social justice, education, leadership development via a monthly forum for discussion of issues affecting our community.
