Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) :
With National Certification includes CEHR training. $5,893 - Books and testing fee additional cost.
26 week course, 8:30 - 1:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Certified Electronic Health Records (CEHR) :
Specialist with National Certification, $3,000 - includes book and testing fee.
5 week course, 8:30 - 1:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Green Careers Academy :
Energy Rater (CHEERS), Weatherization Specialist, and Solar PV Systems (NABCEP), includes 10-hour OSHA certification and a pre-apprenticeship foundation. $5,100, textbook and testing fees additional cost.
13-week course, 8:30 - 1:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Highway Construction Pre-Apprenticeship :
Funded through the Department of Transportation. This course is offered at no-charge to those who meet the eligibility criteria.
2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Green Light Training Project :
Funded through the Department of Labor American Recovery & Reinvestment Act, this program provides the pre-apprenticeship program combined with Energy Raters (HERS) certification and OSHA certification. This course is offered at no-charge to those who meet eligibility criteria.
8:30 - 1:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
GED - General Education Development diploma :
Class is provided at CTC in partnership with East Side Education. Self paced curriculum. Offered Monday - Friday 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. for those ages 17 - 21, and Monday - Thursday 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. for those 18 and older. Registration fee of $30.00 required.
If you are between the ages of 17 - 21
you may be eligible to receive any of the above listed training programs at no cost, provided you meet eligibility criteria. Please call 213-0961 ext. 20 or 27 for more information.
Day Worker Center
